On June 18, 2025, the Faculty of Informatics and Digital Technologies at the University of Rijeka hosted a Multiplier Event as part of the Erasmus+ project VirtualEdu – Empowering Remote Educators, Managers and Workers. The project aims to enhance digital skills and develop certified training programs for remote work, particularly for educators, managers, and employees.
The event brought together secondary school teachers – one of the project’s key target groups – to present tools and resources designed to support effective work in virtual environments.
Associate Professor Martina Holenko Dlab opened the event with an overview of the project’s goals and learning methodology. Associate Professor Martina Ašenbrener Katić then presented the initial research findings on digital skill gaps in the labor market.
Three newly developed e-courses – Remote Worker, Remote Manager, and Remote Educator – were also introduced, along with a digital library of resources. Participants explored the course content hands-on through the project’s e-learning platform.
